Discord Server - Channel now available for Cannock Games Club

Cannock Games Club now have a discord server:

You can run discord on virtually any computer or mobile phone and is an ideal way to send important messages such as running late to other members already at the club - or even if the game or club is cancelled....

You can also use Discord to stay in touch with other members whilst away from the club.

If you want channels creating for your games, please let me know.

We now can roll dice on the discord server allowing for character stat generation.

Login to the Discord games server and then issue the command:

Code: Select all

@rpbot roll <dice+modifier>

for instance:

Code: Select all

@rpbot roll 1d20+4

results in:

Code: Select all

@Username rolled 5. (1,   4)

(a natural 1 rolled).

This can be issued from any of the text Game Channels.

Ideal for character generation with your GM whilst away from the club.

A reminder that we have an active Discord server with a large quantity of our current membership base.

Discord is an application which will run on youor computer or your smart mobile phone and allows you keep in touch with club members/games whilst at work, home or on holiday. You can leave messages for your GM especially useful if your running late or unable to attend at the last minute.
